Trained
at “The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts,” Marc also
worked at the “L’Espalier” sister restaurant,
“Sel de la Terre” before venturing on his own to start
“Olives and Herbs.” He has over 10 years experience
working within the food industry, teaches cooking classes at the
Boston Community Adult Education Center and is ServSafe certified.
Concerned
with actively helping her community, Marc chose the culinary arts
as one way to bring together families
and allow individuals to pursue their passions.
This way everyone in our society may benefit from security of
the family unit and the growth of innovation and ingenuity by
Boston’s creative minds. He left her successful corporate
job to pursue more voluntary community service activity in the
Boston area and abroad and to pursue his beloved cooking.
Marc knows
what it means to eat and eat well! “Living in Boston has
helped me to recognize other wonderful cuisines and the beauty
of using fresh, fragrant herbs,” says Marc. “Having
lived in Boston most of my life has helped me to recognize the
importance of appreciating people and having time for the ones
we love most. You take everything; food, family, music, etc. one
day at a time so that you really enjoy them. Life is worth living
and you should definitely enjoy life!”
